This page explains what RomanThings collects on this website, why, and who receives it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email, phone if you give one, the service you pick, budget range if you give one, your message, and any photos or videos you upload. We also save which page you sent it from.
- Your IP address, saved with the form so we can limit spam.
- Chat: messages you send to the chat widget. We also keep a copy of the question, the page you were on, and a random visitor ID.
- Site usage: pages you visit, the referring site, a random visitor ID stored in your browser, and basic browser and device type.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, quote the work, and see which pages are useful.
The chat is AI
The chat widget is an AI assistant, not a person. Your messages are sent to MakeaBOT so the assistant can reply. Chats are saved so we can follow up.
We don't sell your information
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with the service providers below, who handle it so this site works.
Service providers
- Supabase (through Lovable Cloud): stores contact form submissions, uploaded files, chat-question copies, and our page-view log.
- MakeaBOT: runs the chat widget and stores the conversation.
- Lovable email (Resend): emails us your contact form so we can reply.
- Calendly: only if you use Book a call. What you type there goes to Calendly.
- Google Fonts: your browser loads the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
Cookies and analytics
Our host, Lovable, runs an analytics script on every page. It sets a session cookie and logs page views, such as the page address, the referring site, and your browser type. We also keep our own page-view log, described above.
Google Ads: when you arrive from one of our Google ads, we use Google's advertising tag to count visits and leads (a call, text or email tap, or a contact form sent). Google receives your IP address, browser details, the page you are on and the ad click identifier, and may set cookies. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec this only happens if you choose Accept in our cookie banner; if you choose Reject, Google receives only limited, cookie-free signals. How long we keep it
As long as needed to respond and run our business, or until you ask us to delete it.
